The first way of monitoring student’s progress is to conduct written or oral tests based on educational course in order to evaluate their academic performance. Students can only attempt such evaluation tests if their concepts are clear because having ambiguity regarding any topic will eventually be exhibited in these assessments. Therefore, teachers should conduct such examinations weekly in order to observe students’ academic understandability so that if they lack in any area of education, teachers will be able to help them with that particular subject to improve their performance.

Assessment through group projects

Monitoring of students’ progress can also be done easily by arranging group activities in classrooms. It becomes far more convenient to evaluate a student through group performance rather than assessing him or her at individual level. Group activities help teachers to assess students on different levels, such as communication skills, management abilities and development of understanding, which are a lot more important for overall classroom progress. Group activities also allow instructors to observe students individually by checking that which kid lacks in which particular area, you may say that such activities provide a comparison between different students of a classroom in order to take required actions.

Observe Students’ Class Participation

Moving on, teachers can also observe students’ class participation level in order to check their classroom progress. Students only participate in class when they have better understanding and confidence to come up with their personal thoughts, without hesitating. Teachers may observe those students who are not taking an interest in class activities and stay aloof, must lack educational understanding and personality development. Therefore, take steps in order to make them an active member of a classroom just like other students to improve their overall performance.
